Bela Chekurishvili (born 1974 in Gurjaani) studied philology at Tbilisi State University. She worked as a cultural journalist in Tbilisi. Currently, she studies at the University of Bonn. She is an author of four poetry collections and one collection of short stories. Her poems were published in several anthologies in Georgia and abroad.
